Tom joined Kerrigans as a Consultant in 2020.
​
Tom is an RICS qualified quantity surveyor with over 30 years’ experience within the construction industry. He also has a BSc Honours degree in Economics and Business Economics from Southampton University.

Tom’s extensive experience has seen him involved in some of the UK’s most interesting civil engineering contracts, including the A55 Conwy Crossing, the new Thelwall Viaduct and the Edinburgh Trams scheme.
​
Most recently, Tom was the commercial manager for 4 years on the successful delivery of the £100 million Ince Biopower Waste to Energy contract for the main contractor, MBV (Montgomery Watson and Black & Veatch joint venture).
​
Tom’s contract experience is extensive with a working knowledge of most forms of contract, most recently IChemE (red, yellow, orange and brown books) and all forms of the NEC suite of contracts.
​
Tom has been involved with claims management (preparation and defence), adjudication and dispute resolution. Although Tom has a main contractor bias, he has recently been involved in a number of cases protecting the commercial and legal interests of subcontractors.
